Associate, HITT University (Learning & Development)

 

HITT seeks a Learning and Development (L&D) Associate to assist in the creation, implementation and administration of strategies that will help us elevate the learning culture and promote opportunities essential to the professional development of our team members. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and engaging person with an innovative mindset, a passion for creating engaging eLearning, and a natural disposition towards problem-solving. S/he thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to respond quickly to multiple projects’ needs.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interface with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to develop and design learning content for HITT’s team members in a variety of formats including eLearning, micro-learning, virtual classroom, and classroom training in a timely manner
  • Manage all aspects of the Learning Management System (LMS) tool to provide end-user support and training
  • Research, respond, and follow-up to employee inquiries in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and monitor the HITT University training calendar, communications, and classroom setup
  • Set up class instructors for success by providing administrative support
  • Work with vendors and other third party sources to coordinate technical or professional training offerings
  • Provide regular reports to departments for course completion and user activity
  • Develop, maintain and coordinate class presentations, support materials and training/job aids
  • Assist with the development of evaluation/assessment metrics and feedback mechanisms to measure training effectiveness of various learning platforms and implement continuous improvements
  • Explore, evaluate, and recommend new learning trends, alternative technologies, and approaches for effective learning and organizational implementation
  • Participate in and lead initiatives to solidify process and standards, innovate, and drive continuous team improvement
  • Provide input to the strategic development of HITT University

 

Qualifications

  • Build positive relationships and interact with all levels of management and associates to develop and implement department and organization-wide training initiatives
  • Deal with ambiguity and create process and structure where it does not currently exist
  • Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Effectively contribute to medium to large projects while balancing daily required tasks

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with some coursework in Human Resources, Learning and Development or Education
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in learning and development or related field
  • Experience with technology-assisted learning software applications desirable, including, but not limited to, Learning Management Systems, on-line survey tools or learning development tools.
  • Familiarity with Articulate Storyline helpful
