Administrator, Project Accounting

The Accounting Administrator is responsible for assisting the Project Accounting team with administrative processes and procedures. Key to this position is a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency in providing excellent customer service to internal and external parties. The ideal candidate presents a positive attitude and is able to perform in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative support to Project Accounting team
  • Process accounts payable invoices ensuring accuracy in coding to chart of accounts
  • Respond to accounts payable inquiries from internal and external parties
  • Assist in preparing required billing documentation
  • Ensure organizational compliance with proper paper and electronic documentation filing
  • Assist vendors with setup and ongoing compliance standards
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience required
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of basic clerical and administrative procedures is required
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
