Recruiter 

Responsibilities 

  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs and job descriptions
  • Initiate requisitions in the system and determine where to post based on skill and position
  • Full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing through offer stage
  • Conduct reference checks as needed
  • Advise management on industry, salary and employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Captures and manages all candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as job boards, social and professional networking, outreach, and diversity recruiting efforts
  • Assist Recruiting Manager to develop new and innovative recruiting campaigns and branding
  • Serve as back up for offer letters
  • Consistent and timely follow up with hiring managers on all recruiting activity
  • Develops and maintain an excellent relationship with hiring managers and employees to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (ie benefits, compensation, bonus eligibility, etc)
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Assists in the new hire onboarding process by providing hire data
  • Ensures EEO/OFCCP fair hiring practice compliance
  • Assists in collection and compilation of recruiting metrics for the Recruiting Manager

Qualifications

  • 2+ years Technical Recruiting experience in Construction or Government Contracting preferred
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a chameleon and work with all different personality types
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Proven experience and usage of Boolean logic
  • Experience with using MS Excel and Word products
