Pursuits Associate/Sr. Associate – Marketing
This entry to mid-level pursuits associate leads the development of responses to RFQ/RFPs, interview presentations, and award submissions. Additionally, the associate acts as the point of contact in servicing assigned sectors of the company. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, high-performing, and has strong customer service skills. Key to this position is the ability to multi-task and to remain cool while working under multiple deadlines. The position requires excellent writing and design layout skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, coordination, writing, editing, layout, and production of qualifications packages and proposals.
- Collaborate with the project teams to develop interview presentation strategy and lead the development of interview materials including PowerPoint presentations, interview books, and handouts.
- Act as point-of-contact for assigned sectors; guiding them as they need marketing support; maintaining project and team knowledge.
- Develop and maintain sector-specific marketing content including narratives and photography for proposals, brochures, company website, social media, etc.
- Update and maintain marketing templates including resumes, project sheets, AIA A305, proposal materials, etc.
- Manage and produce industry and project-specific award submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing or Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-5 years of experience in marketing in a fast-paced corporate environment; experience in the architecture / engineering / construction (A/E/C) field is desirable, but not required.
- High level of working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is required (specifically InDesign).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills are required.
- Experience developing proposals is desired.
- Confidence in leading operations project teams and collaborating with executive leadership individually and in group settings is desired.
- Demonstrated strengths in organization, multi-tasking, and project management are a plus.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.
