Director, Project Solutions

HITT Contracting Inc. has an immediate need for a Director of Project Solutions. This individual will Report to the CEO and will be required to collaborate closely with senior-level Operations team members across the company and Corporate Resources Department leadership. The individual leads, develops, and manages Corporate Resource team members on the Project Solutions team.


  • Will be required to lead presentation efforts to internal stakeholders; considered a ‘voice’ of operations within the organization
  • Will contribute holistically to the company via participation in the Enterprise Governance Committee (EGC)
  • Will be required to monitor the construction industry for trends that may affect project costs, efficiencies and/or quality
  • Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of current practices, standards, and strategies to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversight for HITT’s project management tool, Procore including communication and training for ongoing upgrades to HITT team members, data integrity and productivity enhancements for our operations
  • Oversight of HITT’s Virtual Construction departmental team, including strategic planning on ways to leverage technology in HITT’s pursuits and ongoing projects.
  • Oversight of HITT’s Quality Control Program, Operations and Site Operations manuals, project scheduling guidelines and development of supplemental content for operational project and process management
  • Advisory in areas of lean construction, push/pull planning, design-build, design-assist and other construction delivery methods
  • Complete Departmental reporting – annual budgets and monthly budget updates, department goals, submission of corporate initiatives and development of meaningful content on the Project Solutions intranet page
  • Lead internal Department team meetings and contribute to corporate meetings including the EGC, Operations Executive Committee and Friday Flash.
  • Team development; recruit and onboard team members, ensure team members have development plans in place to continue their growth, lead the promotion and performance review process for the team


  • At least ten years of experience in the construction industry with a proven track record on successful project completions
  • Experience leading others and has recruited and coached team members to success
  • Four-year degree from an accredited university
  • Software proficiency and/or ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office suite (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, etc.), Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) and Procore (Project Management)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including technical writing
  • Analytical and critical thinking – be able to gather data, interpret it into meaningful information, and relay that information through clear, concise communication strategies; able to see how pieces and processes fit into and affect the bigger picture/business model
  • Positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry
